§ 38-99. Construction investigation fee
Latest version.
For all requests for utility service which require the extension or expansion of utility mains or facilities, as provided by section 38-61, a fee of five percent of the total cost of construction of utilities shall be collected from the applicant for utility service prior to construction of the utilities by the applicant. The purpose of the fee is to cover the city's labor costs associated with the inspection of the newly constructed facilities.
