§ 38-113. Regulation of sewerage facilities

(a) No sewerage facility or facilities may be constructed, placed, maintained, or held available for use except as follows:

(1) Sewerage facilities of an organized disposal system authorized by valid permit issued by the city.

(2) On-site sewerage facilities constructed and operated pursuant to permits and licenses issued by the LCRA.

(b) It shall be unlawful, and it is hereby declared a nuisance, to make, suffer, or allow sewage discharge of any kind other than through sewerage facilities authorized, permitted or licensed in accordance with this article.

(c) Any person violating any provision of this article shall be subject to enforcement action as described in the modifications to the LCRA rules and standards, which are specifically enumerated in attachment A to the ordinance from which this section is derived.
