§ 6-27. City responsibilities

(a) The city shall maintain the runway and wind sock as needed to provide safe conditions for aircraft operation. The airport manager shall inform the city manager when such action is needed to maintain safety.

(b) The city and airport manager assume no liability, written, expressed or implied, concerning aircraft or vehicle operation on the airport.

(c) City and other official vehicles, such as emergency response vehicles, may be driven on the runway to perform official duties. No other vehicles are permitted on the runway.
