§ 6-26. Mutual agreements between airstrip adjacent property owners and the city
(a) The private driveway on lot 937 may be used by city, emergency medical services and fire department vehicles as required in the performance of their duties. Aircraft owners may use this driveway as approved by the airport manager.
(b) Care shall be taken to prevent blocking of the culvert under the runway.
(c) Property owners along the southeast corner of the airstrip are protected from excessive rainwater runoff by a small revetment located on the airport. The city shall maintain this revetment, or its intent. The owner(s) of lots 928, 929 930 shall not allow their buildings, trees or bushes to obstruct the aircraft approach surface. The maximum rear property line obstruction height is seven feet. The maximum front property line obstruction height is 12 feet.
(d) The city has displaced the threshold on runway 2 a distance of 140 feet to accommodate property usage described in subsection (c) of this section.
(e) Drainage ditches were installed to carry rainwater runoff from the Mystic Drive culverts to the runway culvert. These drainage ditches, or their intent, shall be maintained by the city. The drainage ditches do not change the property owners' flooding risk, and the city assumes no flooding liability in this area.
